The Artist And The Psychic

From the earliest age I have been drawn to & driven by the abstract quality of colour and form.

I could always feel and see those qualities as energetic patterns that swirled and moved around every life form as well as objects and landscape. i just took it for granted that everyone saw the world in that way!

Only later in life did I realise that was not the case and that the movements were like an information and message system connecting me to Spirit and the invisible, unseen realms which I have subsequently learned to consciously connected to and use in my work as a physic intuitive.

Even when I was young girl, around the age of twelve, I can remember seeing the world around me magically transform in the way that shapes blend into each other creating others and how the intensity of colour sets my pulse racing in response.

So there was really only one career that I felt drawn to and after getting my degree I started my life as an Art teacher. For the first fifteen years I lived and worked in a number of schools in London, eventually becoming a Head Of Art. I then had my two children, Sam, born in the UK, and Chloe, born in Canada. This gave me satisfaction in my daily routine but took up most of my creative energy and so it wasn't until I moved to Malaysia and became a music teacher at The International School of Kuala Lumpur that I could actually start to paint for myself.

THE COUNTRY INSPIRED MY SENSE OF COLOUR AS THE DIFFERING CULTURES OVERWHELMED ME WITH SUCH VIBRANCY AND EVERY POSSIBLE HUE IN SUCH AN INCREDIBLE ARRAY OF TEXTURES, FRAGRANCES, DANCES, MUSIC AND A WHOLE CACOPHONY OF SENSUAL EXPERIENCE.

This turned out to be a long, beautiful, challenging but ultimately hugely rewarding 12 years of work and then another for 10 years still keeping a home and spending much time there until very recently. Finally returning to make my home again in Canada, my work has been flooding out of me as the energy seeks expression.

I have realised that actually every canvas I paint is a portal. A doorway to a deeper understanding of those who view it. A way to peel back layers of emotion and find the essence of self which lies beneath.

These paintings enhance my other love which is that of intuitive teacher and guide. My classes offer the potential to discover for yourself how you can express your hidden fears, anxieties, joys and discoveries.
